FreeCell Focus collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. Nothing you do in the app is sent to a server run by the developer, because there isn't one.
What the app stores on your device
The app saves your preferences and your game in progress, so it is still there when you come back. This is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard preference storage. It is never transmitted anywhere, and it is removed when you delete the app.
iCloud sync
Your game history and the games you have flagged as difficult sync between your own devices through your private iCloud database, using Apple's CloudKit. This data belongs to your Apple Account. The developer has no access to it and cannot read it — Apple's private database is, by design, readable only by you.
If you would rather not sync, turn iCloud off for FreeCell Focus in the system Settings app. The game continues to work, storing everything locally instead.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits five leaderboard values when you win: your score, your time, your number of moves, how many different games you have won, and your current winning streak.
These are sent to Apple's Game Center, not to the developer. The app only ever submits scores — it does not read leaderboards, and it does not collect, store, or transmit your Game Center nickname, player ID, or any other player's information. Leaderboards shown in the app are displayed by Apple's own Game Center interface. Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Game Center is entirely optional. If you are not signed in, no scores are submitted and the rest of the game is unaffected.
Purchases
FreeCell Focus offers a single one-time purchase to unlock the score history screens. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. No payment details reach the developer at any point — the app is told only whether the purchase is unlocked.
Tracking and third parties
The app does not track you. It contains no advertising, no analytics software, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Nothing you do here is linked to data from other apps or websites, and no data is shared with, or sold to, anyone.
Children
FreeCell Focus is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, children included. There is nothing to review, request, or delete from the developer, because nothing is held.
Removing your data
- On-device data — deleting the app removes your settings and saved game.
- iCloud data — manage or delete it through your Apple Account's iCloud storage settings, the same as any other app's iCloud data.
- Game Center scores — managed through your Game Center account with Apple.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behaviour changes in a way that affects this policy, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
